My name is Connor McCoy, and I’m a singer-songwriter, composer, and producer, born and raised near the glorious mountains of Salt Lake City, Utah. I’ve just recently graduated Berklee College of Music as a piano principal with a BA in Professional Music and a concentrate in Music Production & Engineering, and I’ve moved to the big bad city of Los Angeles to continue my artistry as a singer-songwriter and to find more work as a composer and producer.
When I was younger, I attended the Madeleine Choir School in Salt Lake City, where I first learned how to read and sing classical music with the cathedral choir, performing on multiple occasions with the Utah Opera, the Utah Symphony, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and concert tours throughout Italy and Spain. After learning the piano in high school, I was accepted to Berklee in Boston for piano, where I then became a part of Berklee's premiere a capella group "Pitch Slapped" (winners of the ICAA competition in 2011 and 2014) - touring with them both nationally and internationally, teaching workshops to high schoolers and performing shows and workshops in parts of China.
As a solo artist, my music has been featured on multiple Spotify and Youtube playlists, including alexRainBird’s channel, which has over 500,000 subscribers. I’ve been featured as the lead vocalist in two of Samsung Mobile’s advertisement campaigns, both of which racked up over 30 million views at the time that they aired.
I’ve scored four short films, some of which been featured in festivals around the country such as Orlando Film Festival, Way Down Film Festival, Red Rocks Film Festival, NFFTY Film Festival, Coronado Island Film Festival, Long Beach Indie Film Festival, and the Burbank International Film Festival, among some others.
I’m currently working as a composer assistant, helping compose music for shows on network TV and streaming services like Netflix and Amazon.
